Alameda Park
Local name: Parque da Alameda
Alameda Park in Santiago de Compostela is a large city park. The three paths leading through him are intended for various social groups - one for poor residents, the other for the nobility, and the third for teachers and clergy. In the park there is a monument "Las Dos Marias" ("Two Marys"), they are a symbol of the fight against the Franco dictatorship and the principles of patriarchal society. From the vantage point you can admire the panorama of the historic part of the city.
