La Entallada Lighthouse

The still active lighthouse was built in the second half of the 19th century. XX century. The characteristic shape of the building is the result of the work of the Spanish architect Carlos Alcon. The building has unique elements of Moorish architecture. The lighthouse is the closest point to Africa in the Canary Islands.
