Oasis Park in La Lajita is Fuertaventura's only zoo. Guests can buy specially prepared food to feed the zoo residents. A big attraction for tourists are shows involving dangerous reptiles - snakes and crocodiles, as well as shows of parrots, sea lions and birds of prey. Hippos and African elephants also live in the garden.
