Monolith of Arribada

There is a monument on de Pedro de Castro Beach, commissioned by the Instituto de Cultura Hispánica in 1965 to commemorate the arrival of the Pinta caravels. A rock weighing 20 tons was brought from the Macedonian Baba Mountains. In its front part there is a caravel sculpture by Anxo Fernández.
