The 12th-century castle and the Lutheran Cellar located nearby are the most important monuments and cultural center of Sevnica. The interior of the castle has exhibition and conference rooms with neo-Renaissance equipment. The castle houses School Museum and Museum of Firefighting. The Lutheran Cellar, in the past a secret church, is now a concert hall.
