The mountain, which is called Kahlkogel in German (1836 m) in the Karawanka range, is famous because of the extensive glades covered with wild narcissus. The flowering period is, depending on the weather, at the end of April or beginning of May. Narcissus stands survived despite the intensive grazing of sheep, because their green leaves are poisonous to animals.
