Snežnik

The massif in the Dinaric Mountains, whose highest peak is Veliki Snežnik (1796 m above sea level), during the Roman rule it was called Mons Albius (Biała Góra). The slopes of Śnieżnik are overgrown with vast tracts of forest, which are mostly untouched, natural refuge for wild animals, including brown bears.
