Basilica of St. Emeram

Today's Baroque temple was founded in the early 18th century from the merger of three earlier sacred buildings, including the 11th-century basilica of Saint. Emmerama, from which the present name of the temple originated. One of the most valuable elements of interior design is the main altar made by the Austrian sculptor Johann Franz Pernegger (1634-1720).
