Čiernohronská Forest Railway
Local name: Čiernohronská železnica
The narrow-gauge railway, launched in 1908, was used mainly for transporting timber. Currently, the train traveling along the 17-kilometer route is a great tourist attraction. There are educational paths along the line of the tracks, and at the main station in the village of Čierny Balog there is a museum of rolling stock.
