2 Mai Beach lies between the Dam that surrounds Mangalia Harbor and the Cherhanaua 2 Mai Dam. It is a good place for families with children. The golden sand is soft and fine, and the descent into the water is gentle and shallow. There are toilets, bars and kiosks with snacks and drinks at the beach, and safety is supervised by teams of lifeguards.
The beach is divided into two parts by WWII casemates that sank to the sand as a result of shore erosion. The northern part of the beach is well-equipped - there are, among others, numerous sun loungers and umbrellas for rent. You can also enjoy water sports such as surfing, scooter and water skiing.
The southern part of the beach is rocky and tapers to only 5-10 meters wide. The seabed is also more rocky here than on the other side of the casemates. It is a popular place with naturists.
