The main square of Sintra, at which the life of the town is concentrated. It is surrounded by historic houses, mainly from the 19th and early 20th centuries. Some of them have facades decorated with azulejos tiles. Tourist buses going to the palaces located in the surrounding mountains and a tourist train have their main stop on the square.
