St. Peter's Church

Built in the mid-18th century, the church is a single-nave building with a square, squat tower, whose corners are lined with dark stone. The interior has wonderful works of late baroque decorative art. The walls are decorated with azulejos tiles, and the gold-covered main altar is decorated with numerous carved floral and geometric motifs.
