A late baroque palace built for the rich merchant João Duarte de Faria according to the design of André Soares. It was built in the mid-18th century. It is a regular, symmetrical two-story building. The facade is decorated with a row of windows with balconies. They are framed with carved frames. The façade lined with azulejos is topped with an attic.
