The Monks Park in the Portuguese city of Alcobaça remains one of the most interesting attractions in the area. Built as a cultural and environmental park, it is to offer visitors unique experiences aimed at recreating the lifestyle of monks from the Cistercian Order. The Monks' Park was not created by accident in Alcobaça. The city remains an important center of religious activity, as well as the seat of the monastery, which was inscribed on the UNESCO list.
Mnichów Park is an area divided into two parts. On its territory there is an Ecological Park and a Culture Park, offering tourists entertainment and learning. Tourists can also take part in interesting workshops and projects whose main mission is to show the lifestyle of the monks of Alcobaça.
The Monks' Park is also a medieval village, Coppers Island being an arena for receptions and special events, as well as the Bible Garden created to cultivate the plants listed in the books of the Holy Bible.
