A small chapel dedicated to the Mother of God, originally built in the 16th century. It owes its present appearance to the reconstruction after a great earthquake in the mid-18th century. It is a simple, one-nave building in which you can see a richly decorated Rococo altar. The statue of the Virgin Mary, which was initially in the church, is now stored in the parish temple in Albufeira, and once a year on August 15, fishermen transfer it in a solemn procession to the chapel.
