WCK Municipal Museum of M. Wadowity in Wadowice is located in a classical building in the city center. It is a modern museum where you can not only watch, but also touch exhibits and participate in workshops. A multimedia exhibition leads visitors through Wadowice during the interwar period. In the following rooms you can learn about the history of local education, try your hand at calligraphy, print a document yourself on the 19th-century press or try on a dress from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.
The museum has adopted an open and directed primarily to the visitor form of activity. Thanks to multimedia exhibitions, you can see how Wadowice operated during the interwar period and look at the local market, which was teeming with life as an important commercial center. The next presentation gives the opportunity to learn about the history of the Sokół Gymnastic Society and other cultural and social organizations from the first half of the 20th century. The reconstructed school room from the beginning of the 20th century allows you to imagine what learning was like at that time.
At each stage of the exhibition, visitors can explore the collected monuments independently. He also has the opportunity to try his hand at old methods of writing or counting. At the end of the photo studio you can take a picture in period clothing.
