Local name: Taras widokowy

Wielka Racza is the highest mountain of the Wielka Raczy Group in the Żywiec Beskids, through which the Polish-Slovak border runs. It offers a beautiful view, which can be admired by the viewing platform built at the very top.

Although the slopes of Veľká Rača are forested, its top is covered by a grassy hall, thanks to which nothing obstructs the views, which regardless of the season can be seen in all its glory in full 360 degrees. The Beskid Mały and the Silesian Beskids and Babia Góra look picturesque. You can also see the former border crossing from it. If the weather is good, you can also see the outlines of the Tatra Mountains in the distance.

The observation deck was created on the initiative of Milan Toman in the autumn of 1997. Thanks to him, the reconciliation cross of three nations: Poles, Czechs and Slovaks was also nearby.
