The renovated townsman tenement house from the turn of the 19th century is the main headquarters and the historical and archeological department of Florian Ceynowa Museum of Puck Land. One of its permanent exhibitions presents the history of the colonization in Puck from the prehistory. Another shows the history of the city and its role in sea politics in Poland. The whole is complemented by the recreation of townsman interior from the second half of the 19th century.
The archeological exposition consists of, among others, "the treasure from Władysławowo" which include shields, dagger, and bracers from the Bronze Age, and the amber treasure from the 2nd century containing amber necklaces, beads, and fibulas. One of the most valuable exhibits is the oak dugout from the 8th century.The facility organizes museum lessons, workshops, and various thematical temporary exhibitions including photographic exhibitions.Less
