In the building called "Szpitalikiem", since 1980 is located Museum of the Puck Region. Numerous workshops and temporary exhibitions await visitors. The permanent exhibition presents Kashubian ethnographic collections, reconstructed interior of farmhouse, craft workshops, hatchery and smithy. The Museum also introduces the theme of traditional sea fishing, as well as referring to the history of the building, the history of folk medicine.
Previously, the site functioned as the Station for the Collection of Cultural Goods and the Promotion of Knowledge of the Region. The building itself dates back to 1681 and was the second medical facility. The previous one, erected outside the city limits, was destroyed during the Polish-Swedish wars. The construction of the present was supported by the donation of King John III Sobieski. Over time, the site has become a shelter for the poor of the parish of St. Peter and Paul and remained until the end of the 1960s.
