Hanka Bielicka's bench in Łomża is a memorial plaque commemorating an actress who spent most of her childhood and youth in this city. The building is located on one of the oldest streets of the city, opposite the cathedral. Everyone can sit on the bench beside the artist and take a souvenir photo with her.
The monument created by Michal Selerowski was cast out of bronze. The work depicts a natural size actress, dressed in a big hat on her head - the artist loved this type of headwear. On the back of the seat there is Bielicka's signature.
Hanka Bielicka was born in 1915 in Konówka. She worked as a theater and film actress and as a cabaret artist. She played in more than twenty films, but the most famous was her cabaret character Dziuni Pietrusińska. The actress died in Warsaw in 2006.
