Observation tower
Local name: Wieża widokowa
The observation tower was built on top of the quarry located here. The property is located at an altitude of about 300 meters, making it a wonderful observation point, from which there is a picturesque panorama of the city and the surrounding area.
The tower resembles a medieval castle tower. It was built relatively recently, only in 2002. Standing on the observation deck located here, you can admire the views of the Wieprz River Valley, the lagoon, the skier's lift and the beautiful forests of the Saint Roch Reserve
Quarries themselves, which are a geological curiosity, are also an unforgettable attraction. It is an uncovered wall, thirty meters high and over 160 meters long. Its uniqueness is represented by numerous fossils of ancient flora and fauna, dated to many millions of years.
