The Main Post Office building is one of the most beautiful monuments located in the city of Koszalin. It was built in the 1880s in the neo-Gothic style.
The facility was built on the site of two other buildings that were rented by post. It was decided to erect it in connection with the development of the city and its surroundings. Its interior became the seat of the then General Post Office and Post Office. A few years later, the Telegraph Construction Office was also located here.
The courtyard of the post office was arranged as a carriage house, which along with the development of technology was converted into garages, and horse couriers replaced the first postal cars. In the 20th century, an eastern wing was added to the building.
