Koszalin Narrow Gauge Railway

Local name: Koszalińska Kolej Wąskotorowa

During the summer, regular narrow-gauge trips take place, and there is a possibility of renting a train for the duration of the year. In addition, there are hand rides on hand rail tracks and locomotives. In addition, anyone can help with the preservation of the historic railway and the reconstruction of the route from Manow to Rosnowa.

Narcotine has its history dating back to the 18th century. It was built due to the poor technical condition of the roads, which caused problems in transport and prevented the development of industry. At the end of 1945, the railway played a very important role as it was used to transport fugitives. The Red Army entered Pomerania completely destroyed the railway - denied the tracks and took out the whole fleet. Due to the construction of the Zegrze Pomorski Airport, the reconstruction began. In 2001 the Koszalin Narrow Gauge was finally closed. Fortunately, four years later a number of measures were launched to save it from destruction and restart the narrow gauge.
