In Koszalin, on the low hill are sculptures, which are called "Flame Birds of the Hasior". The installation is made of cast iron and has a length of about eighty meters, and at the highest point it reaches 6.5 meters high.
Birds that symbolize eagles are dominant. They are placed in battle chariots and carry plowed plows behind them. Additional elements that bind the whole are arrows that simulate flaming bullets. Interestingly, the construction really burns. During various events, events in the special recesses of the fire are fired.
Sculptures were made by Wladyslaw Hasior, one of the most eminent contemporary sculptors. They were formed at the end of the 20th century at the request of the Koszalin authorities. Their task was to pay tribute to "Those who fought for the Polishness and freedom of the lands of Pomerania." Due to corrosion, the installation has undergone renovation so that it now fully admires its appearance.
