"Na Grapie" Regional Museum
Local name: Muzeum Regionalne "Na Grapie"
Regional Museum "Na Grapie" was created by Jerzy Rucki, a local poet and writer, in Jaworzynka. The exhibition consists mainly of local artisans and artists, as well as classic, often historical, Istebna outfits. For visitors there is also an open-air museum, which houses a barn, a forge and a chalet from the early 1990s.
On site you can take part in various workshops, cultivating local traditions - plaiting baskets, sewing "kyrpców", producing butter, bread, cottage cheese or embroidering Beskid cross stitch.
The museum operates in partnership with the Society of Friends of the Regional Museum "Na Grapie", created on the initiative of lovers of local history and tradition. There is also an agritourism house, consisting of 20 beds.
