Oflag II C Woldenberg Museum in Dobiegniewo is a unique attraction for fans of World War II history. The collections are presented in the building of the former barracks in the German part of the camp. On the area of about 400m2 are presented souvenirs mostly from the gifts of prisoners staying here.
Museum resources cover about 2460 exhibits, which are permanent property of the institution and several dozen deposits transferred to the museum temporarily by the families of prisoners of war. The collection included elements of camp equipment, tombstones, part of the altar of the chapel of the camp, as well as originals of documents, letters, postage stamps, everyday objects, means of payment in force, exhibits from the art collection camp and much more. In addition to the permanent exhibition, the museum also organizes temporary exhibits commemorating the history of World War II, particularly related to the life of the Woldenberg camp. The specifics of the camp were cultural life, sports and clubs operating there, resulting in the deposition of 6,000 people here. Polish officers and non-commissioned officers, as well as many prominent scientists, architects, actors, musicians, artists, writers and engineers.
