Sognefjorden is one of the longest fjords in the world, its length is 204 kilometers. At its deepest point, it reaches 1308 meters below sea level. Numerous branches, among others in the form of the narrowest Norwegian fjord - Nærøyfjord (on the UNESCO World Heritage List) make it a popular tourist attraction.
The fjord and its branches are best explored on board the ship. The nature of the surrounding slopes is extremely diverse, you can admire both gentle hills and snow-covered steep walls. Interesting tourists are lonely farms arranged on rocky shelves.
There are many places to visit in the Sognefjorden area, e.g. Jotunheimen National Park with the highest pass in Northern Europe - Sognefjellsvegen, Jostedalsbreen National Park and the Vettisfossen Waterfall.
