Kvarven Fort

The construction of the fort began at the end of the 19th century. Due to the deteriorating relations between Norway and Sweden, a decision was made to strengthen the coastal defense. The fort was extended and modernized during World War II, when it became one of the elements of "Festung Bergen". Today the object is in the register of Norwegian monuments, it can be visited.
