Saint Jovan Bigorski Monastery

The Orthodox monastery was founded in the 11th century. It houses a valuable, carved wood iconostat by Petre Filipovic-Garkat. There is also an icon stored here, famous for its miraculous properties, and a collection of relics of such saints as John the Baptist, Lazarus of Bethany, Saint. Barbara or Saint. Stephen.
