Besac Fortress

The 15th-century fortress, built by the Turks, was the site of many bloody battles in the past. During World War II, Italians set up a prison there. In the 21st century, the building was renovated - it is now an interesting monument and a good viewpoint on the village of Virpazar and the surrounding mountains.
