Bukumirsko Lake

Local name: Bukumirsko jezero

A post-glacial lake measuring 210 by 130 m and 17 m deep is inhabited by by the endemic species of the newt resembling a little dragon. According to legend, they are descendants of great dragons who in the past lived in deep water. The area around the lake is a popular area for hiking and rock climbing.
