Geographical Center of Lithuania

In 1995, the geographical center of Lithuania was officially established and designated. According to the design of the architect Vytautas Kundrotas, two stones were brought to the village of Repariai to symbolize Samogitia and Aukštaitija. In 2009, this specific monument also became a symbol of the country's connection with outer space.
