The Regional Museum collects, conserves, researches, recreates and exhibits collections related to the history of Lithuania Minor and Klaipeda. The institution was established in 1924. The collection covers over 90,000 objects, including coins from Gargždai and the late-medieval treasure from Dvarninkų.
