7th Fort of the Kaunas Fortress

Fort VII of the Kaunas Fortress is an example of the best two-post structure to date, it perfectly reflects the first stage of the fortress construction. It was established in the years 1883-1890, and during World War II, the first concentration camp in the occupied Nazi territories was established here.
