Sentina Regional Nature Reserve

A nature reserve covering a kilometer and a half long stretch of a wet sea coast near San Benedetto del Tronto. It is an area with salt and freshwater swamps, a small lake, and the whole area is interspersed with small streams. The land strip is devoid of buildings, except for a few historic country houses from the 19th century. About 170 species of sea, water and marsh birds live in this area, which can be observed from special sites.
