National park in the Apennines on the border between the regions of Emilia-Romagna and Tuscany. It includes mountain ridges divided by deep glacial valleys, whose height exceeds 2,000. m above sea level. There are many glacial lakes in the park, and because of its sculpture, picturesque waterfalls are also formed here. The park is made available to tourists through a well-developed network of walking trails.
