Giant statue
Local name: Statua del Gigante
Perched on a rock by the sea, the statue was inaugurated in 1910. The authors of the nearly 14-meter-high statue were Italian artists: architect Francesco Levacher and sculptor Arrigo Minerbi. The reinforced concrete structure weighs over 170 tons.
