Frasassi Caves

Karst cave system located in the nature park Gola della Rossa e di Frasassi. They form branched corridors with a length of over 5 km, of which approximately one kilometer is open to visitors. The caves are famous for their magnificent stalactite, stalactites, stalagmites, rock drapery and macaroni. Some of them were called candles because of their similarity. Bats and rare crustaceans live in the cave.
