DORGALI tourist attractions

+8 attractions

Dorgali is a town located off the coast of Sardinia. It is the hinterland of nearby seaside resorts such as Cala Gonone or Santa Maria Navarrese. It is also a frequent destination for trips to the coast due to the numerous restaurants and the atmosphere of a traditional Italian town.

The biggest attraction of Dorgali are the surrounding beaches. The most famous of them is Cala Luna Beach with rock caves accessible to tourists. It is located at the foot of a rugged shore and is most easily reached by boat from the Port of Cala Gonone. Access from the land side requires a long hike through the coastal forest and a steep descent.

A notable place in the area is the Aquarium in Cala Gonone, where you can admire the exotic species of fish and other marine animals living in the seas around the world. There is also a promenade in the village and many bars specializing in fish and seafood.

There are not many attractions and monuments in Dorgali itself. However, it makes up for it with the atmosphere of a somewhat sleepy, ordinary town. Tourists eagerly come here to restaurants and to stroll through the narrow streets and look down on the coast from above.
