Cathedral of Sant'Andrea

Local name: Duomo di Sant'Andrea

Almost the entire exterior of the cathedral is covered with local Carrara marble. The oldest parts of the church come from the 12th century, although it was probably erected in the 11th century. The portal is crowned with sculptures inspired by medieval bestiaries. The belfry was added in the 14th century.
