Ballycotton Cliff Walk
Ballycotton Cliff Walk is a walking route with a total length of about thirteen kilometers, which is eagerly used by local residents and tourists alike. This route starts on the edge of the village of Ballycotton and runs along the cliff coast to the villages of Ballytrasna and Ballyandreen. This route offers a perfect view of the coast and the sea.
This area is not only very picturesque, but also interesting and valuable from the natural point of view, due to the various species of plants and animals that live here, in particular various water birds. There are also several bathing areas and beaches along the Ballycotton Cliff Walk.
The route is cut with fences in many places, which are designed to protect the walking path from animals from nearby farms. As a result, the Ballycotton Cliff Walk is not suitable for cycling or strolling with prams.
