Monastery of Saint Anastasia

Studies have confirmed that the foundations of the current building were built around the 9th century, i.e. at the time of the Christianization of the Halkidiki. The monastery was famous for from the relics of St. Anastazja (right foot), which was stolen by unknown perpetrators in 2012.
