The peak is 1011 m above sea level, located in the Bavarian Forest. The forested hill is topped with a radio transmitter mast. There is also an observation tower built at the beginning of the 20th century. A 10-kilometer hiking trail with nature stations leads to the top. It starts in Langfurth.
