Local name: Burgturm und Stadttor

The Romanesque gate is one of the remains of the imperial castle, whose history dates back to the 10th century. In the 17th century, it was incorporated into the Bürgerschießhaus built at that time, the so-called Gardener's house. It is surrounded by two small towers behind which there is a former castle tower.
