SAINTE-ROSEFrance
Anse Waterfalls
Local name: Anse des cascades
The picturesque cove is surrounded by a coconut grove, spruce forest and a gravel and rocky beach. It owes its name to a series of small waterfalls flowing down high cliffs. There is a fairly large picnic area here, so it's a great place for a family afternoon.
There is a fishing port nearby and there is a path along the seashore that takes you to the village of Piton Sainte-Rose. The route usually takes about 2 hours.
