Vannes et sa Femme

The Renaissance sculpture of two busts - Vannes and his wife - has become an informal symbol of the city. It has not been explained why the granite figures were created - one of the hypotheses is that they are a kind of advertising, an invitation to use services or purchase goods. Similar pairs are found in Landévant, Questembert and Pontivy.
