Sainte-Radegonde Church
Local name: Eglise Sainte-Radegonde
The temple from the turn of the 11th and 12th centuries rises on a cliff offering a wonderful panorama of the Gironde estuary. The Romanesque building has a Gothic facade, built in the 14th century after the original front wall had collapsed as a result of a hurricane. In the past, the church was an important stop on the pilgrimage route to the sanctuary of Santiago de Compostela.
