Sarrance Monastery

The temple was built on the site of the miraculous apparition of the Virgin Mary, which took place before 1000. At the turn of the 11th and 12th centuries, a Romanesque chapel was erected here, devastated in 1569 during religious wars. The building, preserved to this day, was built in the 17th century - the oldest element of the interior is the 14th-century sculpture of the Virgin Mary with Child.
