The church was built in the 12th century in place of the previous, destroyed temple. Its architecture is dominated by elements of the Romanesque and Gothic styles. It is worth paying attention to the carved Romanesque portal and the 18th-century pulpit. The church was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
