Tours de Merle

The ruins are a remnant of several fortified estates existing here since the 11th century, which in the 14th century were transformed into a castle defensive complex consisting of seven houses, two chapels and common walls connecting all the buildings. Today, the picturesque towers in the heart of the forest are a popular tourist destination.
